Note to self - use an aquarium next time, not a fish bowl.
I love the moving ink image on my iPhone screen, and I wanted to try taking something similar. The images in the photo story are composites of a lot of different in photos of food coloring dropped into a bowl of water.
I try not to have a lot of expectations going in for these types of things, but this was harder than I thought it would be! I used a fish bowl, which warped the image and made it harder for my camera to focus, and given that the auto-focus looks for contrast, yellow food coloring didn't work very well. I'm pretty sure the ink videos use an acrylic ink, so once I get my hands on some of that, and an aquarium, I'm going to give it another go.
