I grew up in Wisconsin and fled what felt like endless winter for the balmy state of ... Illinois. After an intellectually peripatetic college experience (god bless the liberal arts!) and some strange jobs, I landed in New Orleans for graduate school and life. Man, I love New Orleans. It was a super bummer to leave New Orleans to further my husband's education, but we ended up somewhere a bit magical, a bit worldly, and all awesome - Chapel Hill, NC. Chapel Hill has a small-town vibe, big city ethos, and an abundance of natural beauty. This site will document some of the things I do, explore some of what I photograph and highlight some of the awesome people in front of my lens.
