About Me
I grew up in the endless winters of Wisconsin then made my escape to the comparatively "balmy" state of Illinois. After a peripatetic college education (thank you, liberal arts!) and a few unconventional jobs, I found my way to New Orleans for graduate school. I fell hard for the city's energy and culture. Leaving New Orleans was tough, but in support of my husband's education, we landed somewhere just as special: Chapel Hill, North Carolina. With its blend of small-town charm, cosmopolitan spirit, and natural beauty, Chapel Hill has proven to be a pretty magical place to call home.
